Hi, I’m Alex! I was born and raised in Maryville, TN, and currently live in Alcoa, TN with my wife and our dogs and cat. I’m a corporate trainer by day and a potter by night. After taking a few ceramics classes in high school, I didn’t touch clay for 10 years. In April 2021, a couple of friends and I took a one-day pottery class on a whim at a local pottery studio, and I pretty much never stopped. My style has developed and evolved throughout the last couple of years, and now my pottery is largely inspired by clean, geometric lines and retro/mid-century design.
